The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO); in cooperation with DKSH (Thailand), one of the country's largest distribution and logistics companies; starts process in storage, repacking and distribution of the first 200,000 doses of Sinovac Vaccine from China arrived yesterday (24 Feb 2021) to hospitals in accordance with COVID-19 Vaccination Program under good quality practice ensuring effective distribution to targeted population via temperature-controlled transport. The first lot of vaccine is now stored at DKSH’s facility waiting for quality inspection by the Department of Medical Sciences which is expected to take around 5-7 days before distributing to hospitals with priority given to healthcare workers in high-risk area and the vulnerable people against COVID-19. The vaccines will be administered by the National Vaccine Committee and the Ministry of Public Health and will be closely monitored and assessed.
